An 18-year-old man died after a shooting at a house in Portland's Cully neighborhood on Sunday morning.
An 18-year-old man died at a hospital after being shot during a large gathering at a5800 block of Northeast Alberta Street in Portland. The Portland Police Bureau responded to the scene at 3:33 a.m. on Sunday, finding six victims in total. Two victims were transported by ambulance, with one of them succumbing to his injuries. Four other victims, including a 15-year-old boy, were transported by private vehicle and are expected to survive. Police were initially called to the property earlier in the evening for a noise complaint regarding a large gathering of over a hundred people. While the officers were cooperative with the crowd, the majority of the crowd dispersed before the shooting occurred. Detectives and forensic teams are currently processing a crime scene that spans three blocks, where over 60 casings were located. No arrests have been made yet, and the Portland Police Bureau is seeking witnesses to provide tips via email to help identify the suspects.
