A two-car crash involving a Waymo robotaxi occurred early Saturday morning in the 1000 block of Venice Boulevard in Los Angeles. The collision, reported around 5:45 a.m., resulted in one woman being transported to a medical center in critical condition. Four other individuals who complained of minor pain were treated at the scene by first responders. Authorities from the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene, where two ambulances were dispatched to transport the injured. The scene was cleared by 7 a.m. without any major street closures. Waymo issued a statement emphasizing that the safety of riders and other road users is their top priority.
