The United Kingdom's Crown Prosecution Service has requested the extradition of the brothers, who face a combined total of 38 new charges including multiple counts of rape, sexual assault, and sex trafficking. Court filings from the Department of Justice reveal that Andrew Tate is accused of strangling several women unconscious during sexual encounters, while Tristan Tate faces similar allegations of violent rape. U.S. federal prosecutors argued that the brothers should remain detained during the proceedings, noting they have the financial means and "strong incentives to flee" the United States. The brothers have vehemently denied the allegations. Their attorney, Joseph McBride, described the new charges as a "political hit" and argued that the brothers are innocent. While the brothers are currently held in a high-security unit in Miami, they face a potential return to the U.K. to face trial for offenses occurring between 2010 and 2017.
