Defense tech company Anduril is reportedly seeking a new round of capital that could push its valuation to approximately $100 billion.
Defense technology firm Anduril is reportedly preparing to raise a new round of capital that could increase its valuation by $40 billion to roughly $100 billion. This potential valuation would be a significant jump from the $61 billion mark reached in May. The company may structure the funding as a two-stage process, with both tranches expected to close within the year. The surge in interest follows an unprecedented revival in the defense tech industry, driven by the increasing demand for autonomous craft, drones, and artificial intelligence in modern warfare. Anduril has successfully secured contracts with major entities, including the U.S. Department of Defense, NATO, and the ministries of defense for the U.K. and the Netherlands. The company reported that its revenue more than doubled to $2.2 billion in 2025. While Anduril stated that no final decisions have been made regarding the specific terms of the new financing, the move highlights a broader industry shift toward "attritable" systems—cheaper, more expendable hardware designed to replace traditional, expensive equipment.
