Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that at least 14 people were killed during a series of Russian air strikes across Ukraine, including strikes in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Lviv. The attacks occurred a day after Zelenskyy warned of an imminent massive strike, forcing neighboring Poland to scramble fighter jets to secure its airspace. Russia's Ministry of Defence stated that the strikes targeted military facilities and three cargo ships near Odesa. In Kryvyi Rih, a direct strike by a Russian Iskander-M ballistic missile killed six people, including two girls. Zelenskyy told allies that protection against the Russian missile threat is a critical task that requires international cooperation. The administration announced that President Trump agreed to give Ukraine licenses to manufacture Patriot missiles to address the current shortage of interceptors.
