A California man, Joseph Alfredo Vasquez Dumarce, has been charged in federal court for threatening to send a bomb to the office of Judge Ashlee Cole. The threat was issued via social media messages sent days after the body of Nolan Wells, a boy who vanished during a Fourth of July boat trip, was recovered. Judge Ashlee Cole's son, Warren, was also on the boat trip when Wells allegedly drowned. In a separate federal case, Michelle Francine Edwards of Cincinnati, Ohio, also faces charges for making dozens of bomb threat calls to Mississippi government offices in July. These calls, made from a blocked number, triggered building lockdowns and K9 bomb sweeps. Edwards faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a fine of $250,000.
