President Trump expressed uncertainty regarding the decision to allow Ukraine to manufacture its own Patriot missile interceptors. During an interview with the Financial Times, President Trump stated that while the user is an extraordinary weapon, the administration must be careful about who is licensed to produce them. This follows a recent meeting at the White House where Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed licensing arrangements to let Ukraine build its own interceptors. Officials from Raytheon Co and Lockheed Martin Corp are already involved in the efforts. Ukraine’s envoy to Washington, Olha Stefanishyna, said that experts from Lockheed Martin Corp were being sent to Ukraine. Additionally, envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff are scheduled to visit Ukraine in the coming days. Meanwhile, a Russian missile strike destroyed a drone factory owned by the Terminal Autonomy corporation, marking the first time Moscow has targeted a US company in the conflict.
