Clementon Park & Splash World will close permanently and be offered for sale, the administration announced on Wednesday. The historic South Jersey amusement park, which dates back to 1907, will officially end operations at the conclusion of the 2026 summer season. IB Parks & Entertainment, the corporate owner, purchased the property at a foreclosure auction in March 2021. The park had previously closed in 2019 following a loan default. After reopening in 2021, the venue operated for five seasons before the decision to close was made. Park officials stated that it has been a privilege to care for a place that has meant so much to generations of families. The owners expressed gratitude to visitors, season pass holders, employees, and community members for their support during the past five years. Management noted that additional details regarding the property sale will be released as they become available.
