The brothers, who have a 99.9% chance of developing the same rare dementia that killed their mother, Geraldine Adams, have raised nearly $4 million through their foundation, FTD Brothers, and a social media following of over 1 million people. Jordan Adams completed the London Marathon with a 55-lb kitchen fridge on his back to capture public attention. This stunt was part of a series of challenges, including running the length of the United Kingdom, to highlight the burden of a disease that currently has no cure.
