The City of Toronto issued an order to Live Nation Canada to repair Rogers Stadium following significant storm damage.

The City of Toronto issued an "order to remedy unsafe building" to Live Nation Canada after a severe storm on September 2 caused significant damage to Rogers Stadium. The 50,000-capacity venue suffered collapsed sections of the northern stadium structure, damaged seating areas, and compromised structural framing. Live Nation Canada reported that no one was injured during the weather event. The city's order requires the company to take immediate steps to secure the site, hire an engineer, and propose a repair plan by September 8. These requirements include securing a building permit and meeting specific safety standards before the venue can host crowds again. AC/DC is scheduled to perform at the stadium on September 16. While the concert has not been officially cancelled or rescheduled, Councillor James Pasternak noted that the band may not be able to perform if the repairs are not completed in time. Live Nation Canada continues to assess the extent of the damage to determine the final status of the concert.
