Guadalupe Taddei Zavala leads the approval of a new institutional identity manual for Mexico's National Electoral Institute.

The General Executive Board of the National Electoral Institute (INE) approved a new institutional identity manual during an urgent extraordinary session. Guadalupe Taddei Zavala, the president councilor of the INE, led the meeting where the board validated a proposal from the National Coordination of Social Communication. The manual establishes official colors for the institute to prevent political organizations from using the same colors in their logos or emblems. This action follows a recent order from the Supreme Court Chamber of the Electoral Power of the Federation to the political party Somos to change its logo because it used the same pink color as the institute. Guadalupe Taddei Zavala stated that the new manual will allow the institute to register its official colors so that no organization becoming a political party can use the same colors. She noted that the change is important for identifying INE staff during campaign periods to distinguish them from other partisan actors and citizen organizations.
