The company also posted positive adjusted operating income for the second quarter. Anthropic is currently competing with OpenAI for corporate customers and has gained significant traction among professionals using its software for coding tasks. The company's run-rate revenue crossed $47 billion, up from roughly $10 billion in revenue in all of 2025. CFO Krishna Rao is leading high-level meetings with prospective investors ahead of the potential IPO, which could occur as soon as this fall. A successful debut would provide the necessary capital to fund escalating compute infrastructure costs and secure advanced hardware.
