Ariadna Montiel Confirms Alejandro Enrique Arcos Romero Has Been a Member of the Morena Party Since 2013
Ariadna Montiel, the national president of the Morena party, confirmed that Alejandro Enrique Arcos Romero has been a registered member of the party since 2013. This confirmation follows previous statements by Montiel where she had initially denied his membership. The party's National Commission on Honesty and Justice was tasked with review the situation, as Arcos Romero is linked to the Romanian mafia and served as a political operator for Rafael MarÃn Mollinedo. Rafael MarÃn Mollinedo, the former director of Customs, has officially separated Arcos Romero from his political team due to the scandal surrounding his alleged ties to the Romanian mafia led by Florian Tudor. MarÃn Mollinedo stated he was unaware of Arcos Romero's specific background when he served as a public servant in the National Customs Agency. While the party leadership maintains that members are not automatically removed from the records unless they express an intention to leave, Morena's commission will determine the next steps regarding Arcos Romero's status.
