Covenant Unveils Anthem Long-Range Missile to Provide Affordable Mass-Production Alternative to Legacy Systems

While legacy systems are often expensive and difficult to manufacture in large numbers, the Anthem is designed as a high-volume weapon to replenish inventories during prolonged conflicts. Abby Denburg, President of Covenant, stated that the weapon was developed with an eye toward future conflicts in the Pacific. The missile uses a solid rocket motor for launch and a heavy-fuel jet engine for cruise flight. It can carry a warhead weighing more than 200 kilograms. To support production, the company opened a 105,000-square-foot factory in Grand Prairie, Texas. The administration announced that the company has secured roughly $150 million in orders and $250 million in funding from investors. The Texas facility is expected to begin serial production in the first quarter of 2027, eventually reaching a capacity of 5,000 Anthems per year. Covenant also operates production facilities in Germany and Israel.
