Diego Sebastián Rosen Ferlini is the primary suspect in the quadruple homicide of musician Jonathan Meléndez and his family.

Diego Sebastián Rosen Ferlini, an Argentine businessman, is the main suspect in the quadruple homicide of musician Jonathan Meléndez and three members of his family in Atizapán de Zaragoza. The victims included Meléndez, his 35-year-old pregnant wife, their 3-year-old daughter, and a 21-year-old domestic worker. A six-year-old son survived the attack by hiding during the incident. Authorities state that Rosen Ferlini, a business partner of Meléndez, took advantage of a relationship of trust to enter the home and commit the crime. Initial investigations suggest the multihomicide was motivated by an economic conflict involving an overdue payment of 300,000 pesos. Rosen Ferlini was arrested on September 2, and his chauffeur, Gerardo N, was also detained. Both suspects were transferred to the Barrientos prison. Prior to the crime, Rosen Ferlini had already faced public accusations and a warrant for arrest regarding several fraud cases involving luxury property rentals. The State of Mexico prosecutor's office will present evidence to link the suspects to the crime as the formal penal process begins.
