Nadia Vehurini Matadama DĂaz Shot Dead at Her Home in Guerrero
Nadia Vehurini Matadama DĂaz, a general practitioner and municipal leader for the Movement Ciudadano party in Tlapehuala, was shot dead at her residence in Chilpancingo. Armed subjects entered her home in the Atlitenco colony of Altamira and opened fire, resulting in her death. Security authorities received an emergency call regarding the incident on Saturday, August 22, 2026, following reports of gunshots from neighbors. Paramedics confirmed her death and reported the findings to the State Attorney General.
