President Claudia Sheinbaum assists a fainted woman during her Second Government Report in San Luis Potosi
President Claudia Sheinbaum broke security protocols to assist a woman who fainted as she was leaving an event in San Luis Potosi. The incident occurred at the Arena Potosi, where approximately 21,000 people gathered for her Second Government Report. After noticing the woman on the ground, Claudia Sheinbaum got out of her car and stayed with her until emergency services arrived. The woman was subsequently taken to a hospital of the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) for medical observation due to a subdural hematoma. During the event, Claudia Sheinbaum highlighted several social programs in the state, including the "Salud casa por casa" plan, which has 981,576 beneficiaries. She also reported on various pensions for adults, women working at home, and people with disabilities. In educational matters, she detailed scholarships for public preparatory education and university students. Additionally, Claudia Sheinbaum discussed infrastructure projects, such as the passenger train connecting San Luis Potosi with Nuevo Laredo and the construction of the El Peaje-San José aqueduct.
