The Bogotá Water and Sewerage Company (EAAB) has scheduled a series of water supply suspensions across various sectors of Bogotá, Soacha, and Cota from August 24 to August 28, 2026. These interruptions are necessary to facilitate maintenance, repairs, and infrastructure improvements, including pipe rehabilitation and storage tank cleaning. The schedule includes significant maintenance in the Chapinero locality, where water will be suspended for 37 hours starting August 25. Other notable works include 24-hour maintenance in Ciudad Bolívar, Soacha, and Bosa, as well as 27-hour network adjustments in Antonio Nariño and Puente Aranda. The administration of the water utility has advised residents to store water in containers and use it rationally, prioritizing hand washing and food preparation. To ensure continuous service for high-population areas, the EAAB will provide water tanker services, which can be requested via the Acualínea 116 service channel.
