Tyronne Brazille faces murder charge after allegedly shooting Lanessa Bradford in Baton Rouge and driving her body to Tennessee

Tyronne Brazille was arrested in Memphis, Tennessee, after police discovered the 50-year-old woman, Lanessa Bradford, dead in his vehicle. The arrest occurred during a traffic stop on Thursday, August 13, while Brazille was fleeing the scene of a shooting in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Authorities state that Brazille and Bradford were at Independence Community Park in Baton Rouge when a verbal argument broke out between the two. Brazille allegedly shot Bradford during the dispute and then drove with her body in the passenger seat across several states. Brazille was taken into custody as a fugitive and is currently awaiting extradition to Baton Rouge. He will face a murder charge in connection with Bradford’s death. Police reports indicate the shooting occurred at the park, and the suspect was eventually caught after being stopped for a minor traffic violation in Memphis.
