The Secretariat District Habitat launches a new call for the Temporary Solidarity Renting program in Bogota

The Secretariat District Habitat will launch a new call for the Temporary Solidarity Renting program to provide economic support for households in vulnerable conditions. The program offers a one-time subsidy to help households cover partial or total rental fees for independent housing that meets specific district conditions. Beneficiaries can receive a monthly subsidy of up to $1,085,561, which corresponds to 0.62 of the Legal Minimum Monthly Salary, for a maximum duration of six months. Unlike previous calls, there will be no online registration. Applicants must attend physical sessions between September 7 and 23, 2026, at various locations across the city. During these sessions, households must present complete documentation and receive orientation from the Secretariat District Habitat staff. To qualify, the head of household must be over 18 years old and have an income of up to the Legal Minimum Monthly Salary. Applicants must also belong to specific population groups established by the program, though belonging to one of these groups does not guarantee the subsidy automatically.
