Enel Colombia schedules power outages for Bogota and Soacha from September 7 to September 9, 2026

Enel Colombia announced scheduled power outages for several neighborhoods in Bogota and the municipality of Soacha from September 7 to September 9, 2026. These suspensions are part of planned maintenance and improvement works on the electricity distribution networks to ensure service reliability and security. On Monday, September 7, Bogota will experience outages in neighborhoods including Andalucía II, Bellavista, Marly, Chicó Norte, La Cabrera, San José de Fontibón, Las Delicias, Santa Catalina, La Victoria, Prado Veraniego, Santa Bibiana, and Santa Teresa. In Soacha, the Los Olivos I vereda sector will experience a cut from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. On Tuesday, September 8, the La Mária sector in Soacha will experience a cut from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. On Wednesday, September 9, the Cagua sector in Soacha will experience a cut from 8:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Enel Colombia provided recommendations for citizens to disconnect appliances to avoid damage from fluctuations, plan activities around the schedules, and keep refrigerators closed to preserve food. Users are also advised to authorize technical personnel to enter buildings only after validating their identity by calling the official number.
