To achieve these goals, Jensen suggested a token tax to put human and machine labor on the same footing. He also proposed that the government purchase an ownership stake in leading American AI companies and distribute that equity to all citizens. This approach would ensure that every citizen has a claim on the profits generated by the development of AI tools.
