The Secretary District Mobility has established the circulation rules for taxis and private vehicles in Bogotá for September 2026. For taxis, the measure applies from Monday to Saturday between 5:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., with specific plate endings allowed to circulate each day. All taxis are exempt from the restriction on Sundays and holidays. Private vehicles are subject to a specific circulation calendar for the month. Additionally, cars, vans, or camper vans with four seats, excluding the driver, are exempt from the pico and placa measure from September 1 to 30, 2026. Drivers and owners are encouraged to consult the official website to avoid fines. Users who wish to be exempt from the restrictions can register for the solidarity modality, which allows for payment to use a vehicle without restrictions.
