U.S. Citizen Yanet "N" Arrested in Sonora as Logistics Operator for Sinaloa Cartel Arms Trafficking

The detention occurred during surveillance patrols near the border bridge between Mexico and the United States in San Luis Río Colorado. During the operation, authorities seized 5,445 usable cartridges and one vehicle. The operation is estimated to have impacted the criminal group's operational and financial structures by over $1.65 million. The arrest was conducted through coordination between the Secretariat of the Navy, the National Defense Secretariat, the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Republic, the National Guard, and the Secretariat of Security and Protection of Civilian Life. Yanet "N" was placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry of the FGR to determine her legal status and integrate the investigation file.
