The FDA classified this as a Class II recall, meaning consumers may experience temporary or medically reversible health consequences, though serious health issues are rare. Consumers can identify the recalled rice using the UPC code 073416040281. The packages have best-before dates of February 1 and February 2, 2027, and lot numbers 260201MA and 260202MA. Customers who purchased the rice at Wegmans can receive a full refund, while those who purchased it elsewhere can contact their local stores for potential refunds.
