The tour continues to India, where Xi Jinping will attend the 18th Brics Summit hosted by Narendra Modi. The diplomatic marathon culminates in a late September summit in Washington. Xi Jinping will meet with President Trump to negotiate a trade truce and manage technological competition. This sequence of visits allows Xi Jinping to arrive in Washington as a leader with broad international backing, showcasing China's strategic options across Eurasia and the Global South.
