Police in Mexico City Detain Four Individuals for Attempted Home Break-in in Tláhuac Municipality
Police in Mexico City detained four individuals—three men aged 18, 39, and 41, and a woman aged 30—for their probable involvement in an attempted home break-in in the Trabajadores de Gobierno colony. The incident began when a 74-year-old woman reported that two subjects had damaged the front door locks of her residence on Juan de Dios Peza Street. Upon the arrival of police, two additional men arrived at the scene. The group escaped in a white compact car, but were intercepted by uniformed personnel during a routine check. Officers seized a backpack containing two mobile phones, a tag, and a chisel. The 41-year-old man has a prior record for kidnapping in 2002. The four suspects were presented to the Public Prosecutor to determine their legal status.
