Dell Technologies Reports Record Revenue and Raises Full-Year Outlook Following Strong Fiscal Second-Quarter Results

Dell Technologies reported record revenue of approximately $47 billion for its fiscal second quarter, exceeding analyst expectations. The company's adjusted earnings per share reached $7.04, a 203% increase from the same period a year ago. During this quarter, the Infrastructure Solutions Group generated $31.78 billion in revenue, with AI-optimized servers contributing $16.40 billion. Following these results, the administration announced a raised full-year outlook for the fiscal year ending January 2027, projecting revenue of approximately $192 billion and $74 billion from AI-optimized server sales. For the fiscal third quarter, the company projected $49 billion in revenue and $6.50 in adjusted earnings per share. The company's Client Solutions Group recorded $15.03 billion in revenue, a 20% increase from a year ago. Management noted that while demand remains strong, the company faces supply constraints in the second half of the year. Dell Technologies also reported a backlog of $95 billion in AI servers at the end of the quarter.
