Mette Frederiksen rebuffs unsolicited beauty advice from a plastic surgeon

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen expressed her frustration with receiving unsolicited beauty advice regarding her appearance. Upon returning from a trip to Ukraine, Frederiksen shared a message from an unnamed male plastic surgeon who offered to "fix that little spot on your nose." Frederiksen responded to the surgeon's suggestion with a pointed retort, stating she was happy with her body as a woman approaching 50. She noted that she has received numerous messages over the years regarding her teeth, hair, and a supposed "wart" on her nose. The prime minister, who has led Denmark since 2019, urged the public to focus on more meaningful topics rather than her physical features. While expressing her indignation at the superficial scrutiny, Frederiksen also offered solidarity to others who face similar comments. She emphasized that she does not offer unsolicited opinions on the looks of others, and encouraged people to embrace their "perfect imperfections."
