Ulises Carlin, from the Secretariat of Finance and Public Treasury, shared a favorable economic panorama for the entity, noting that Nuevo Le贸n has the greatest growth in programmable expenditure and an increase of 8.1 percent in the Ramos 28 and 33. Jorge Santos Reyna, president of the Chamber of Industry Transformation (Caintra) Nuevo Le贸n, stated that the 2027 Economic Package must strengthen public finances by incentivizing more businesses to join the formal economy. Reyna emphasized that fiscal policy should favor productive activity and the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises. At the national level, Octavio de la Torre, president of Concanaco-Servytur, highlighted that the proposed fiscal reform for 2027 includes modifications to the Simplified Confidence Regime (RESICO) to simplify formality for small and medium-sized enterprises and family businesses. These changes include increasing the annual income limit for individuals to 5 million pesos and for legal persons to 50 million pesos, with a new 2.5 percent tax rate.
