During a press conference in Chihuahua, Sheinbaum Pardo explained that because each country establishes its own entry requirements, the decision to revoke a visa belongs solely to the United States. While Mexico cannot compel the neighboring country to reinstate a document, the administration announced that it can publicly manifest its position when cancellations appear to be influenced by political themes. Furthermore, Sheinbaum Pardo noted that the Mexican government can provide support for visa processing in special cases where citizens need to relocate to other countries. Sheinbaum Pardo emphasized that a valid visa does not guarantee entry, as the final authorization remains with the US authorities who review travelers based on their own migration criteria and documentation.
