Authorities Capture Govén Ulises 'N', a Key Leader of the Los Rusos Criminal Group

Security Secretary Omar García Harfuch reported the capture of Govén Ulises 'N', also known as 'El Amarillo' or 'El Gobén.' The criminal leader is a priority target and a primary generator of violence within the Los Rusos group, a criminal organization linked to the Cártel de Sinaloa. Govén Ulises 'N' was apprehended in the Lomas de Angelópolis residential area in Puebla. The operation was conducted by federal forces, including the Agency of Criminal Investigation, the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime, the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection, and the Secretariat of the Navy. The capture was supported by intelligence from the National Intelligence Center and coordination with local authorities in Puebla and Guerrero. The criminal is linked to high-impact crimes including extortion, kidnapping, homicide, and the trafficking and distribution of drugs. He was also under an arrest warrant for qualified homicide. During the operation, authorities seized luxury vehicles, firearms, and various doses of illicit substances. Govén Ulises 'N' and two of his bodyguards were taken into custody. The three detainees were placed at the disposal of the corresponding Public Prosecutor's agent.
