This caused flames to shoot from beneath the aircraft, specifically from the left main landing gear area, and blew out four tires. Air traffic controllers captured audio of four loud pops as the told plane touched down. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene, spraying water to extinguish the flames. No injuries were reported, and all crew members were confirmed to be safe. While the incident caused a temporary runway closure, airport officials reported no major flight delays as of Thursday morning.
