Claudia Sheinbaum launches new emotional intelligence program for Mexican secondary school students

The program aims to provide guidance to students through sociodramas, collective expressions, and teacher support. Sheinbaum stated that the program will be implemented every Monday in classrooms to help students understand and express their emotional changes. The government will distribute 16 million guides to support the initiative, including 7.5 million for adolescents, 7.5 million for parents, and 1 million for teachers. Tania RodrÃguez, the Undersecretary of Higher Secondary Education, explained that the program has a community-based preventive focus and will reach every school in the country. The initiative includes didactic and playful integration activities to be improve communication and coexistence within schools and families.
