During her speech, Sheinbaum highlighted social programs in Colima, including pensions for adults and people with disabilities, scholarships, and the construction of 20,700 homes. She also discussed national sovereignty, proposing that the president of Mexico should hold only Mexican nationality. Sheinbaum criticized previous governments, specifically mentioning the meeting between Vicente Fox and Alejandro Moreno. She highlighted the privatization and public debt accumulated during the neoliberal era, noting that the government continues to allocate 50 million pesos every two years to the Institute for Protection of Savings Bank.
