Lt. Col. (res.) Idan Sharon-Kettler showcases the vast arsenal of weapons seized by the IDF from Hezbollah and Hamas.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have secured a massive collection of military hardware from the Iranian-backed terrorist groups Hezbollah and Hamas. At the Tzrifin Base in Central Israel, Lt. Col. (res.) Idan Sharon-Kettler, the military commander of the Captured Equipment Evacuation Unit, displayed a wide array of confiscated weapons, including rockets, drones, grenades, and sniper rifles. The arsenal features equipment from various global manufacturers, including Russia, China, Iran, and even a Nazi-era machine gun used for propaganda by Hezbollah. Sharon-Kettler noted that the seized equipment highlights the sophisticated methods used by these terrorist organizations to target Israeli civilians and the IDF. The collection includes dual-use technology, such as motorcycles and ATVs, transformed into offensive weapons. The IDF continues to military operations in Lebanon to clear out military entities targeting civilians. As the U.S.-led effort to disarm Hezbollah and facilitate a staged withdrawal of IDF troops from southern Lebanon continues, the State Department remains optimistic about the trajectory of the talks.
