Hodo Foods recalls over 10,000 cases of Chili Crisp Lightly Fried Tofu due to potential ink contamination.

Hodo Foods has voluntarily recalled more than 10,000 cases of its Lightly Fried Chili Crisp Tofu. The recall, which began on August 7, affects products distributed across 29 states. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration reported that the tofu may be chemically contaminated with ink that migrated from the product packaging into the food. The affected products have a net weight of 8 ounces and are kept refrigerated. Consumers who purchased the specific item, identified by UPC code 850565007842, should not consume it and should instead throw it away or return it to the place of purchase. To date, Hodo Foods is not aware of any reported illnesses, injuries, or adverse health effects associated with the affected product.
