Firefighters have achieved 27% containment of the Hawk Fire, a fast-moving blaze that has scorched over 15,000 acres near Reno, Nevada. The fire, which exploded in size over the weekend, has destroyed at least 32 homes and damaged six others, while injuring seven people, including three first responders and four civilians. Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo declared a state of emergency in Washoe County, mobilizing the National Guard to assist with aerial firefighting and securing evacuated neighborhoods.
