The Colombian Prosecution reactivated arrest warrants for 46 members of three armed groups that had previously negotiated peace with the government. The administration announced the termination of dialogue tables with these groups on August 28, leading to the revocation of their status as peace negotiators and the suspension of their arrest warrants. The reactivated orders include 27 members of the State Major of Blocs and Fronts, 13 from the National Coordination Army Bolivariano, and six from the Conquistadores Defenders of Sierra Nevada. Among the leaders, Alexander Díaz Mendoza, known as alias Calarcá, is a primary target. The Prosecution requested an intramural prison measure for Alexander Díaz Mendoza, who is accused of multiple crimes including homicide, kidnapping, and torture. The decision follows the government's determination that these organizations lacked the will to achieve peace. This move follows a previous announcement by the Prosecution that it would reactivate warrants for leaders who failed to fulfill their commitments as negotiators.
