Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union members face digital service disruptions as web and mobile app functions remain unavailable.
Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union members are experiencing a disruption to web and digital services that began over the weekend and continued into Tuesday. While phone banking and branch services remain functional, the mobile app is generating error messages and some web links are directing users to a message stating the domain is for sale. Credit union officials stated that member accounts have not been compromised. The institution has not yet confirmed if the outage is a result of a few hacks, though it is expected to be released later. Taurena Williams and Azad Toori were among the members who visited local branches to conduct in-person transactions while the digital services are being restored. The credit union operates more than a dozen branches in Pennsylvania and and nearby areas, advising members to use phone and branch services in the meantime.
