The incidents resulted in three deaths and several injuries. Police reported the first shooting occurred early Sunday morning near Third Avenue and Clay Street during a street takeover. A fight broke out among street racers and spectators, leading to gunfire that hit four people. One man died from his injuries, while three others were wounded. The second shooting took place approximately 80 minutes later near Third Avenue and Blanchard Street. A gunman fired multiple shots into a vehicle, striking a woman who later died from her injuries. The third shooting occurred early Monday morning at the intersection of Elliott Avenue and Bell Street. A fight preceded the gunfire, which killed a 17-year-old and left a 21-year-old man in serious condition. Detectives consider the three shootings to be separate and unrelated. Mayor Katie Wilson stated that the city will announce a gun violence prevention strategy next week. The Seattle Police Department is currently investigating all three cases and seeking witness information.
