Francisco Álvarez Denies Involvement in the Murder of Influencer Valeria Márquez
Francisco Álvarez, the son of narcotrafficker Ramón Ángel Álvarez Ayala, known as 'El R1,' has publicly denied involvement in the murder of influencer Valeria Márquez. Despite official accusations that he may have had his father order the murder, Francisco Álvarez maintained that he is completely innocent and that his father was not involved in the crime. During an interview with journalist Luis Chaparro, Francisco Álvarez explained that while he was in a relationship with Márquez, they had minor disagreements and she published videos on social media regarding his jealousy. However, he clarified that they remained on good terms after those posts. He argued that the authorities are attempting to close the investigation quickly due to the media-driven nature of the case. Francisco Álvarez requested a thorough investigation of the evidence, including communication records and the victim's cell phone data, to prove his innocence. He expressed a desire to speak with Márquez's family to clear his name and requested that a judge determine his final guilt or innocence.
