Honolulu police are investigating the death of Southwest Airlines flight attendant Jenny Lupton after she fell from a 24th-floor hotel balcony.

Honolulu police are conducting an unattended death investigation into the death of Jenny Lupton, a 50-year-old Southwest Airlines flight attendant from Oklahoma. Lupton was found dead on August 20 near a contamination bin below her balcony on the 24th floor of the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki. While the Honolulu Department of the Medical Examiner informed the family that Lupton fell from the balcony, her relatives expressed concern regarding the possibility of foul play. Hannah Lupton, Lupton's niece, stated that Lupton was not suicidal and had recently received a tattoo that she planned to have colored in upon her return home. Tresa Lupton, Lupton's sister, noted that Lupton was enjoying a layover with coworkers and had danced with a friend. The Honolulu Police Department's Homicide Detail is currently reviewing over 70 surveillance cameras and conducting interviews to determine the circumstances of the death. The Oklahoma Attorney General's office has also joined the investigation to ensure a family receives clear answers.
