Israeli strikes allegedly killed at least 10 Palestinians in Gaza City and Nuseirat refugee camp on Wednesday.

Israeli military strikes on Wednesday allegedly killed at least 10 Palestinians in two separate attacks targeting a Gaza City police post and the Nuseirat refugee camp. The Gaza City strike, which occurred near a busy park, allegedly killed nine Palestinians, including a newly-appointed police chief and several officers. A separate strike on the Nuseirat refugee camp allegedly killed one Palestinian, including a 13-year-old girl. While the Israeli military claimed to have targeted Hamas commanders, Hamas condemned the strikes as a new war crime, accusing Israel of deliberately targeting civilian police and unarmed civilians. The Israeli military also confirmed the killing of four Hamas Nukhba terrorists and the sealed tunnels belonging to Hamas. These attacks occurred two days after Jared Kushner visited the region to push for a major deal to end the war. During his meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu, Kushner reiterated Israel's right to self-defense and warned Hamas that they must disarm or the US would support Israel to finish the job.
