Vladimir Putin Plans to Subjugate Moldova and Ukraine to Destabilize NATO and the EU

Vladimir Putin is executing a long-term strategy to destabilize the Western alliance by prioritizing the conquest of Ukraine followed by the control of Moldova. The administration announced that Russia intends to capture southern Ukraine to create a land corridor linking Russia directly to Moldova, which would serve as a staging ground for further aggression against the EU. To achieve this, the Kremlin has deployed extensive resources, including cyberattacks, disinformation, and physical training camps in Serbia, Bosnia, and near Moscow. These camps trained Moldovan recruits to handle explosives, drones, and incendi-ary devices to disrupt elections and staged protests. Additionally, Russian-backed priests were paid to campaign against EU integration. While Moldova has secured narrow victories in recent votes, officials like Mihai Lupașcu noted that the battle is won but the war is not. Experts warn that Russia's shadow war and escalating production of nuclear-capable missiles and drones are forcing NATO to find ways to project strength to avoid a full-scale continental war.
