Mohammad Bagherzadeh requests Qatar to transfer detained Iranian pilots to land for better physical condition.

Mohammad Bagherzadeh, commander of the Committee for the Search for Missing Persons of Iran's Armed Forces General Staff, requested that Qatar transfer three detained Iranian pilots to a hospital on land. The pilots, Javad Salehi, Abdul Majid Dashtian, and Imran Behroshian, were allegedly captured by Qatar after ejecting from fighter jets during a combat mission. Bagherzadeh stated that the pilots are currently in poor physical condition while being held on water, and he urged the International Committee of the Red Cross to send an air ambulance to expedite their return to Iran. Qatar has categorically denied Iran's claims of capture, stating that the pilots violated Qatari airspace and failed to respond to communication attempts. Qatari officials stated they took necessary measures to defend their territory according to international law. While Iran accuses Qatar of violating international prisoner rights, Qatar maintains that its search and rescue teams performed their duties fully and invited Iran to review the search and rescue operation details.
