Israeli military strikes in Gaza City and Deir el-Balah allegedly killed at least five Palestinians on Monday.

Israeli military strikes across the Gaza Strip resulted in the deaths of at least five Palestinians on Monday. Two people were allegedly killed by Israeli forces in an air strike on a crowd near a municipal public park in Gaza City, an area occupied by displaced families. A separate air strike in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood of western Gaza City allegedly killed at least three people. The Israeli military stated these attacks targeted Hamas fighters. In central Gaza, a strike on Deir el-Balah on Sunday allegedly killed two Palestinians, including a three-year-old child. On Saturday, Israeli attacks allegedly killed at least four people. Since the ceasefire began in October, 1,313 Palestinians have have been allegedly killed by Israeli forces in Gaza. The Gaza Ministry of Health reported that nearly 73,500 Palestinians have been confirmed killed and 174,500 injured since the conflict began in October 2023. The Israeli army reported five deaths in its ranks and one civilian contractor death since October.
