Marty St. George leads JetBlue's expansion into premium travel with new Boston BlueHouse lounge
JetBlue is expanding its premium offerings by opening a new BlueHouse lounge at Boston Logan International Airport on Thursday, Aug. 27. The 12,000-square-foot space, which serves as the airline's second lounge, follows the debut of its first location at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport. Marty St. George, the airline's president, highlighted that the new Boston location is designed to emulate a warm, stylish New England home, featuring various Boston-themed motifs such as a replica of the Green Monster scoreboard and a custom-built model of a Dunkin' Donuts. The lounge offers a variety of amenities, including a main bar, an open kitchen with hot plated dishes, a casual game room called the 'Dugout,' and a 'Library Workspace.' The airline is also updating its access policy, making the lounges accessible to domestic Mint business-class passengers. While Mint Base fares are excluded, Mint and Mint Flex fares provide complimentary access. Mosaic members and cardholders also receive varying levels of access and pricing for guests.
