Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins and Tom Begich Lead Alaska Gubernatorial Primary Results

Former state representative Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins and former state senator Tom Begich have emerged as the leading Democratic candidates in Alaska's gubernatorial primary. Kreiss-Tomkins secured the highest number of votes, while Begich followed closely in second place. Both Democrats are expected to the advance to the general election, though they may eventually consolidate their support to avoid dividing the Democratic base. Republican candidates Bernadette Wilson and Dave Bronson also secured top spots in the Republican field.
