Branden Anders faces multiple charges after a rollover crash leaves a passenger trapped and power lines down in Lake Oswego

A 20-year-old man from Lake Oswego, Branden Anders, was arrested and faces multiple charges following a single-vehicle rollover crash early Sunday morning. The accident occurred just after 2 a.m. at the intersection of Spinosa and Jefferson Parkway. Police were dispatched to the scene after a caller reported a vehicle resting upside down with an intoxicated-appearing driver. Upon arrival, officers found Branden Anders outside of the vehicle while a passenger remained trapped inside. Firefighters from the Lake Oswego Fire Department and American Medical Response assisted in removing the passenger from the car. Both Branden Anders and the passenger were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The crash resulted in a power pole being sheared off, leaving power lines across the roadway. Portland General Electric crews worked to manage the scene and ensure safety. Branden Anders was lodged at the Multnomah County Detention Center. He faces charges of driving under the user of intoxicants, reckless driving, recklessly endangering another person, and fourth-degree assault.
